I hope your Summer was everything you hoped it would be! My daughter Alex turned in the manuscript for her first book in May, the day before her 26th birthday, so we took a road trip to Charleston to celebrate and meet the editor at The History Press who discovered her from reading her articles in Country Roads Magazine.

I'm beyond excited to announce that her book, Classic Restaurants of New Orleans, is due out November 4th!

I read it twice and can't begin to tell you how interesting the histories of these iconic restaurants are! Of course, I'm her mother so you probably think I'm a bit prejudiced. However, we're thrilled with her first three endorsements!

Besides being an interesting read, there are more than a hundred great photos, many taken by Alex, and a recipe from each restaurant, like Galatoire's Souffle' Potatoes and Pascale Manale's Barbeque Shrimp. So if you have a fondness for New Orleans and all things culinary, this book is a keeper! There will be lots of book signings in St. Francisville, Baton Rouge and New Orleans but if you can't make it to one, you can pre-order autographed copies from my website:

On another note, since I launched my new website last Spring, I've had several requests to bring back the "Colors and Uses" and "Photos and Reviews" pages from my old website. Rather than add these pages back to my site, I've combined them into separate blog posts with all of this information on my 70 stock colors so that whenever you'd like to find out more about a color or see how it will look in a space, you can use the search bar that will take you right to that particular post. I've been writing one almost daily starting with my whites and following in the order they appear in my color chart. I'm happy to report that I only have a few more left to write! Once I finish with the last color, I'll create one post that will constantly be updated with custom and retired colors as I create formulas for them. You'll be able to order these colors in addition to my stock colors. Click on the color chart below to take you to my Blog.

I'm always looking for photos of finished projects in my colors and would love to have more to add to my blog posts on each of the colors. If you have any, please send them to me!

Wishing you all a wonderful Autumn!
